Seen as Formula 1 on water, the UIM E1 World Championship is an exciting new product for the electric world.
Velocity have been working with E1 for over 3 years, from the initial virtual launch during the Covid-19 pandemic, for which we helped orchestrate the event, leaning on our technical expertise, through to the secondary live launch event which saw the RaceBird unveiled to the world for the first time. Velocity executed this launch event at the prestigious Monaco Yacht Club, captivating an audience of key partners, shareholders and VIPs.
The following year, Velocity were tasked with creating an exhibition as part of the Venice Boat Show, one of E1’s activations across the city of Venice to celebrate the partnership. Velocity subsequently helped deliver the gala dinner for esteemed guests.
The UIM E1 World Championship hosted its first race in January 2024, and since, Velocity has accompanied the organisation in designing the event site, advising on key event infrastructure to deliver the paddock, event production compound, hospitality and fan zone areas.
Since 2021, The Velocity team have been designing, building and producing all of the official hospitality spaces at the British Grand Prix for Match Hospitality, and before this for Silverstone Circuit directly.
A full turnkey solution, from creative through to managing the content and scheduling across the live days. Velocity have a team of over 200 people across 6 weeks on site to bring this vision to life year on year.
