Velocity created an experience that brought Formula 1 to the heart of London.
Liberty Media appointed Velocity to showcase the new era of Formula 1, with live action and entertainment. Velocity's role included end-to-end event management, securing city and council permissions, developing the creative, overseeing all technical production, talent and team communications, and finally, show calling the entire event.
By day, the event was an educational showcase along the streets of Whitehall. By evening it was a fan festival with concerts in Trafalgar Square featuring artists Little Mix and Bastille. The event also featured a VIP hospitality experience for 700 people at the National Portrait Gallery.
